Warning on Wage Slavery
Do not fall for jobs with qualifications such as "no experience needed" or "no experience required". Those were corporation tactics to get you into this modern-day slavery.
How did it came to my senses?
So I applied for a job. I got accepted. But the day after I got the job offer, I withdrew my application and told them I can't. I chose to study. I realize I just can't do it. I can't work and earn just to pay for my hospital fees.
So going back, wage slavery came to me when I'm researching about how modern people get into oppression without them knowing. This was just out of curiosity. I just realized that once you let yourself into those corporations, you've got no choice but to stay there for the rest of your life.
How?
Since you have no experience, you'll be drawn to those "no experience required" jobs and then you'll start to get trained with the said job and will get an offer, 6 months contractual before going regular. Fair deal? No. Okay so once you have the skills, you'll then work, but do you love what you do? No. And hey you won't even have the choice to turn your back because 1) You don't know any other jobs 2) you'll be homeless once you stop and 3) your family depends on you. You'll get old thru time and you'll get sick but once you tried to AWOL due to sickness, bye-bye you no longer serve them so you'll get fired.
But yeah if you're any good you may get a promotion, yes but keep in mind that credentialism was the concept that ruled our society since then. You won't be able to get that high position because your educational attainment was flawed. You know, I would like to open your mind to the reality that working 9am to 5pm with contractual obligations and you not having any benefits is plain bullshitty slavery. Please know that corporations chose those newbie to work for them because of their unskilled self. Those "no experience needed" jobs were made to those people who don't have any definite answer to their self on what they want to do in life. Jobs need skills. And if you want to know how not to fall into wage slavery, I'll leave you with three choices:
1.) If you know what you want to do in your life, and you think education won't help you in the long run, drop your college shit and do what you want to do.
I know it will take you long time to make people figure out why did you do this. You will face numerous rejections and you'll need to live with criticisms everywhere but this is okay. Just be sure that once you drop out of your university, you need to have something definite aim or plans for your life. In this way, you can certainly enjoy the life you've chosen.
2.) If you're still perplexed on what you want to do, stay in college. Choose the course that you want and do your best.
In this way, you'll get yourself skilled. And you know in yourself that you're doing what you do because that's what you want to do and not because that's "in-demand". If you know you have the skills, you won't fall into "need no experience" jobs because you're certain that you know something. You need to keep in mind that you must know that you have these skills you've attained. In that way, jobs will even find you plus it won't be on a minimum wage range.
3.) Undecided. Like me.
Stay in school, learn what you want to learn. Work until you're 25, earn and save more and then start your own business. I think this is the most effective way to get out of this wage slavery scheme. You always have the choice. Keep that in mind.
P.S. Don't fall for credit cards, I know I'm just 18, I may not sound reliable but trust me, you know this in yourself, credit card is a tool used by companies to keep you enslaved into their scheme so you better keep yourself off.
