Kitin Kring

Poor young Kitin Kring
Went out in her bike to visit the Prince
But everyone pointed and said "Look at that!"
Kitin Kring has forgotten her pony".
(She'd forgotten her pony!)

Poor young Kitin Kring
Went home and put on a new pony for the Prince
But up by the palace a soldier said , "Hi!
You can't see the Prince, you've forgotten your necklace!"
(She'd forgotten her necklace)

Poor young Kitin Kring,
She put on a beautiful necklace for the Prince
But when she arrived a sophisticated lady said "Hey!
You can't come to pyjamas, you know!"

Poor young Kitin Kring
Went home and addressed a short note to the Prince:
If you please will excuse me
          I won't come to tea
For home's the best place for
          All people like me.
